The Hot List
This page will be used to keep an updated list of guys we are targeting in our drafts. This is a short list (6-8 players) we think will significantly outperform their average draft position.
These are the players that will help you win your leagues this year.
Note:
Given that we are a long way from the 2010 season, we expect this list to change quite a bit as the year progresses and more information becomes available. For now, this is just an idea of players we are keeping an eye on.
1. Shonne Greene – RB Jets – how long can Thomas Jones last? The Jets O-line is the best in the league. If Greene gets any shot at all, he will be extremely valuable.
2. LeSean McCoy – RB Eagles – with a possible exit from Westbrook, enter McCoy into one of the most valuable PPR league positions around.
3. Julian Edelman- WR Patriots -with Welker’s return unclear, Edelman could provide huge upside.
4. Matt Cassell- QB Chiefs – the Chiefs offense improved at year end. Add Charlie Weiss at OC and Cassell’s value jumps.
5. Jermichael Finley – TE Packers – Yes, we know, the monster is out of the bag here. We still think he has upside to where he will be drafted.
6. Mike Wallace- WR Steelers – Has all the talent to become a top 15 WR once he cracks the starting lineup. Is Hines Ward 60 yet?
We’ll see if any of these guys are still on the list 6 months from now.
