Legacies Are Being Written In The 2010 NFL Playoffs
Legacy. Destiny. History.
This IS the story line of the 2010 NFL Playoffs.
Has there ever been a playoffs with as much historical significance as this one? We have Peyton Manning and Brett Favre trying to grab their second NFL titles and solidfy their legacies as the greatest to ever play the game of football.
The next generation of young quarterbacks are trying to win their first titles with Tony Romo, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers going for their first Super Bowl appearances and possible championships.
Already eliminated are potential Hall of Famers Kurt Warner and Donavan McNabb.
I can not remember a playoff with this many potential hall of fame quarterbacks all with solid chances of winning the big one. And this may be Brett Favre’s last chance to win one.
The thing that is so unbelievable is that all of them are playing the best football they’ve ever played. We are watching true greatness this year. We are watching history unfold.
